Chimani National Park iOS Apps Updated to 2.0
Just in time for National Park Week, we’re rolling out version 2.0 our National Park apps. The iOS updates were released this morning (still waiting on Apple to approve the Yellowstone update) and the Android version will be released in a couple days. Improvements include:

Thoughts on my meeting with Sec. Salazar, Sen....
I was fortunate to be invited by Senator Collins (ME) to attend a small private meeting with Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar and National Park Service Director John Jarvis. Thoughts on grizzly encounters
As I watched a sow grizzly and her two cubs this evening in Grand Teton National Park I couldn’t help but think of the family who lost a loved one to a grizzly encounter just yesterday, and only 50 miles north of here. My heart goes to the entire family.
I am also reminded this evening how truly powerful these animals are. I was well over 100 yards away from the grizzly yet its strength...
