“Suit up” with your bow ties, boas, and Bean boots on Aug. 28 for a night of fun to benefit Teens to Trails, a nonprofit outdoors group that sponsors and supports high-school Outing Clubs.
The 2nd Annual Bow Ties and Bean Boots Gala at The Portland Company in downtown Portland, Maine will feature live music from The Ghost of Paul Revere, food from the Marshmallow Cart and Rolling Fatties, and drinks from Rising Tide Brewing Company. The event will include games and a live auction; your ticket purchase automatically gives you a chance to win a pair of L.L. Bean boots.
“Chimani is proud to sponsor the work of Teens to Trails, which is helping to create the next generation of hikers, campers, and supporters of our nation’s public parks and the outdoors,” says Kerry Gallivan, CEO and co-founder of Chimani. “The Bow Ties and Bean Boots Gala is a great night out and supports Maine teachers and students who understand that outdoor activities and skills are crucial for building self-reliance and self-confidence that they can carry through the rest of their lives.”
Tickets for the gala are $35 in advance, $40 at the door. The event is 21-plus. Tickets can be purchased online at http://www.teenstotrails.org/benefit
