Chimani fans know that driving tours, including audio descriptions of key points of interest, have been a part of our National Parks mobile apps since the very beginning. Users of our guides to Acadia, Cuyahoga, Death Valley, Denali, Grand Canyon, Olympic, Yellowstone, Yosemite and Zion national parks already enjoy these narrated audio guides, and our soon-to-be-released guides to Joshua Tree and Petrified Forest will also feature auto tours.
Some parks, however, are more of an on-foot experience than a drive-around destination, so in 2016 Chimani is debuting in-app walking tours complete with audio professionally voiced by Danielle Fornes. This new feature will appear first in our upcoming Mount Rushmore National Memorial and Hot Springs National Park apps.
The Mount Rushmore walking tour, for example, will lead visitors up the Avenue of Flags to the park visitor center and main viewing area of the monument before offering a step-by-step guide to the Presidential Trail. For Hot Springs, the walking tour focuses primarily on the historic buildings and thermal springs of Bathhouse Row.
As usual, all these features are included free with the Chimani apps, so download your mobile guides to driving and walking the National Parks today!
