The National Parks app by Chimani provides users with the ultimate mobile tool for planning a trip to any of the 411 national park sites in the U.S. The app acts as a comprehensive guide to the national park system, that works alongside separate apps for the individual national parks.

“We’re honored to have been hand picked by the Google Play team for this feature,” said Kerry Gallivan, Chimani’s CEO and Co-Founder. “As we head into summer of the National Park Service’s Centennial year, this exposure from Google will allow us to reach more national park visitors and help them explore the parks without the need of a cell connection.”

“The National Parks app allows for travelers to plan their trips before they leave, as well as navigate the park while they are there,” said Gallivan. “With our GPS-enabled offline maps, visitors can discover trails, points of interest, park facilities, lodging, dining, and activities in and around the parks.”

The National Parks app by Chimani is available for free in the Google Play Store, as well as the Apple App Store and Amazon Appstore. Chimani’s suite of national park apps currently include over 25 individual apps, with all 59 national park apps available on June 1st.
