Robert Caston, Content Manager for The Parks and Facilities Catalog, documented his experience using the Everglades National Park app by Chimani, in a recent blog on the company’s website.

The article sheds light on some of the Chimani app’s most popular features, including its GPS-enable maps, which make it possible for users to navigate each of the national parks, as well as register “Visits” within the app, even without cell service or a WiFi connection. This is important as national parks typically have very little, or no, cellular or WiFi connectivity.

The Parks and Facilities Catalog also discusses topics related to this year’s National Park Service Centennial, celebrating 100 years of the government agency responsible for the oversight and management of the national parks, as well as speaking with Chimani’s Marketing Manager Tom Tash about the relationship between millennials, technology, and how the next generation is find their park.
